London is england’s capital and the world’s 9th biggest city. It has an interesting history that spans nearly 2,000 years, which initiated with the arrival of the romans soon after their invasion of britain in AD43.

London is placed on the banks of the river thames, in the south east of great britain.

London boasts a rich history that spans over 2000 years, so it’d be impossible to talk about it all. However, the city was particularly badly affected over world war two.

Throughout the second world war, London was badly bombed. children were evacuated to the greenery to escape the bombing. those who stayed hid from from bombs in the london underground. However, nearly 35 000 the people of london were killed, & approximately 50,000 were seriously injured.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in London is Buckingham Palace, which has been the official london residence of the british monarchy since 1837. The palace was initially opened to visitors in 1993 and the changing of the guard has proven particularly popular with them. This ceremony takes place in the forecourt of buckingham palace at 11.30 every day in summer and every other day throughout the winter.

Buckingham Palace is placed in Westminster and it is accessible by bus and tube.

It goes without saying that the shopping in London is the best in britain. In fact, the city has a wide variety of famous shops, which include Harrods and Hamleys.

Camden Town is well-known for its alternative shops and amazing market. it is a varied location, which sells everything from retro clothes to records.

On the other hand, fans of shopping should head to knightsbridge or mayfair for the more high-end shops. you’ll find some fantastic designer brands in this vip area.

Needless to say the night life in London is among the best in the world. there are countless night clubs, live music venues, exclusive bars, cosy pubs &Michelin starred theatres to enjoy.

The Met Bar in the metropolitan hotel is one of the city’s most well known bars. The bar is so exclusive that it is hotel guests and members only after 6pm. The bar is really popular with celebs, so you can do some fabulous star spotting there.
