Mohegan Sun Casino is located in located in Uncasville Connecticut.

The casino opened its onsite hotel in 2002, a beautiful 34-story luxury hotel. Offering its guests 1200 rooms to choose from all with a Mohegan culture design. The hotel offers a picture perfect view of the Thames River. Guests of the hotel are treated to a commentary breakfast and free casino money. The average nightly price per room starts at $199.00 while it certainly is a beautiful hotel if that’s too much for your wallet to handle or you would prefer to spend you money in the casino there are several hotel, Inn’s and Bed and Breakfasts near by with nice accommodations.

The Microtel Inn & Suites is a good choice from personal experience I found this little hotel to be very nice. It is located less than a quarter of a mile away from Mohegan Sun Casino the rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and the commentary breakfast was suitable. It’s located right off the highway so the noise volume is a little louder in the front of the hotel than I would like. The price of the rooms, which include a queen size bed, TV, mini refrigerator, private bathroom and table and chairs, start at $49.99 a night. The shuttle bus to and from the casino is free and run until 1am every night.

A little further down the road is the Best Western Cristata Inn approximately a half a mile form Mohegan Sun. This Best Western is privately owned and offer guests mini-suites as opposed to single rooms each suite comes with two double beds or a king size bed. A kitchenette with a coffee pot, mini refrigerator and microwave so guests can prepare their own quick meals if they would like to. This hotel also has a fitness center and an indoor pool. Prices begin at $89 a night and include a complementary breakfast.

About five miles away from Mohegan Sun is the Courtyard By Marriott located in Norwich the hotel actually sits right between Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casino. This hotel offers two double beds or a king size with all the room amenities one would expect from a hotel. It has a swimming pool and a restaurant on the premises. The average cost per night is $109 depending on the time of year the Fall season is the most expensive as all the people seem to flock to this beautiful New England State to admire the changing of the seasons.

All of these hotels are family friendly and rated between three and five stars. Several restaurants, shops and entertainment venues are in close proximity. All three choices will provide you with a comfortable place to stay while visiting Mohegan Sun Casino.
